Feilongus < Ctenochasmatidae. Feilongus is most closely related to the contemporaneous Moganopterus within the boreopterids. Boreopterids were in turn found to be closely related to the aerial fishers known as ornithocheiroids. Feilongus is also close to the gallodactylids. Feilongus is a gnathosaurine ctenochasmatid. The ctenochasmatids are a diverse lineage of suspension feeding pterosaurs that were common in fresh water and marine environments from the Late Jurassic to the Early…

Zhejiangopterus linhaiensis, Tapejara wellnhoferi, Pterodactylus antiquus, Nyctosaurus gracilis e Ornitocheirus simus .

Caiuajara - Pteros The young must have been precocious, leaving the nest as soon as they hatched, thus limiting parental care. However, unlike most other pterosaurs, there does not seem to be any marked sexual dimorphism in the skeletons. Usually, pterosaurs show strongly dimorphic features. The large and well-known genus Pteranodon and its relatives like Geosternbergia and Dawndraco show us that these particular creatures lived as part of a patriarchy, with a harem-based breeding system.

"Ancient brain" from the Jurassic of Argentina helps fill a gap in the pterosaur family tree.

Volgadraco, Cretaceous, 80 mya. Although it is incomplete, Averianov and colleagues assigned Volgadraco to the Azhdarchidae. Volgadraco is probably an intermediate between early, smaller azhdarchids and the giant azhdarchids that lived during the latest Cretaceous. Azhdarchids have been interpreted as terrestrial hunters, stalking small vertebrates including baby dinosaurs. The islands in which Volgadraco lived may have supplied prey, or they may have used them as nesting grounds.

More Pterosaurs! Whether the Nyctosaurus had a membraned antler or not they were still pretty awesome.
