Stephanie Gonot‘s takes the classical still life and replaces fruit, flowers, and skulls with fanta, lunch meat, and ice cream. The results are clean and funny and a totally great time. Right now she is working on a bi-weekly column called “Food Mood” for the Italian magazine Red Milk where she takes fashion photographs as inspiration for her photographs of food. It also is a joy.
Still Life Photographer - Sara Morris. I love how Sara matched her objects to the background. It gives it a really interesting look. Again, she has a really whimsical style that is also very modern. I love the lighting coming from the left corner and how it creates both highlights and shadows. Her composition is very unique in how she has all her objects in a line, it creates a very different look. The mood of this image is fun and bright.
Melbourne-based still life photographer, Sonia Rentsch, has caught our eye once again. Her diverse portfolio of crisp shots and clean lines has a geometric edge. She has the ability to invent clever, humorous scenes using the most ordinary of objects, like an apple for example.
