I love both versions, book and movie. So rare to say that! Obviously the book has so much more than the movie and you get to know the characters so much more in depth. But the movie is just.like any Studio Ghibli movie.

I didn't know there was a sequel until just a week or two ago. Reading this book filled me with love and nostalgia for Howl's Moving Castle. I love Diana Wynne Jones' writing style and this book is wonderful in it's own right, a dash of "Howl's Moving Castle" to remind you of the original but enough of it's own story to make you feel like your on a whole new adventure. <3
