The woman in this picture was found in the boat docks in Herculaneum. She was a young woman. We can tell this by looking at her bones but we can also tell she was a slave because there is stress on her back and her spine shows signs of excessive labor. If you look in  her arms you see a little patch of bone, it is actually a baby's head.
