I so want a female Bassett Hound that looks like this one. I would name her either Charlie or Janis.

The Grey Crowned Crane (Balearica regulorum) is a bird in the crane family Gruidae. It occurs in dry savannah in Africa south of the Sahara, although it nests in somewhat wetter habitats.They can also be found in marshes, cultivated lands and grassy flatlands near rivers and lakes in eastern from the Uganda and Kenya, south to South Africa.

I've only seen these Sandhill Cranes in Homer, Alaska... They are quite Beautiful!!!

We saw a pair of Sandhill Cranes in our backyard today. They're quite large and have a unique call.

The everlasting fight in my heart. I was originally a Wessa fan, then half way through Clockwork Prince I realized that I love Jessa just the same. And then City of Heavenly Fire came along and I think I'm more team Jessa than Wessa at this point.
