I like this picture because it has a lot of color in it. The costumes that are being worn are bright and express happiness. I also like that this scene has different color flowers hanging down from the ceiling. The swing that Helena is standing on tells the viewers that this scene takes place outside. Little additions like that make the play more realistic looking.
Mile Square Theatre's performances "A Midsummer Night's Dream," Shakespeare's comedic play, continue in August. This version of the classic has been set in the 1950's on the Hoboken waterfront, as the company revives its critically acclaimed 2007 production of Shakespeare's comedy...
I chose this picture because I like how dancing was used to interrupt what is happening. I also like how elegant and flowy the costumes are. This affect gives a more lighter and happy feel to the scene. These emotions being represented are explained through the use of costumes and scenery to show a certain mood.
