Overgrown ferris wheel at the abandoned amusement park in Chippewa Lake Park in Ohio, closed in 1978. First opened in 1878, the park has been unused for 31 years. Trees now grow through the ferris wheel and coaster tracks. Most of the rides are now gone, though the remnants of a few rides remain. I love abandoned roller coasters. I believe this photo was taken at the abandoned Chippewa Lake Park, located in Medina, Ohio. One of the places I plan on visiting this winter.
