Ahmad Jamal, underexposed and underappreciated, Jamal is an innovative and influential pianist, composer, and educator. He is a transitional figure in the movement away from bebop to cool jazz in the late 50's and early 60's. His unique musical style and use of space puts him in the rarified class with Thelonious Monk. He set the standard for later jazz piano greats Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock and McCoy Tyner.

Miss Nancy Wilson: THE VERY THOUGHT OF YOU - 1964. The Song, the emotion by which it was sung, the message in its loving lyrics, the lady singing with such voice = Profound Perfection! No other performance can match this delivery of sound and word. The Very Thought of You is Perfect My Love!
