I have a list for everything: groceries, to-dos, songs I like, places I want to go, quippy lines, books to read… you get the gist. Most of these lists come in a disjointed notes format – quick blurbs scribbled on post-its or the back of old receipts that float around my purse, desk, and apartment, never truly lost but frequently misplaced and typically released from the short term memory bank.

SHE DECIDED TO LIVE THE LIFE SHE'D IMAGINED. This is one of my most personal posts and I'd like to share it once again with you all my Instagram friends. I was 31...that's "youth" right? I lived in the West Village worked in fashion and was dating an adorable Parisian actor {one that moved to NYC for us...where he still lives...and still follows my IG feed. We're friends it's all good.} I had it "all" I suppose. Except I didn't. I loved my life my job my neighborhood... even him. But…

Few more... This was a recent project built for a customer who wanted dual 8ft towers to flank a large window. But with a fold-down tabletop that would span over to the other side for drinks and snacks whenever the need arises. The span was about 6ft and a bit of challenge to not obstruct the view however this worked out great. I'm definitely building a fold out desk for my kids using this design with a book shelf

Imy new computer it looks perfect on my desk. I said it before this computer has been something I've been wishing for. In fact last year I wrote down all of the things I wanted to achieve but personal and professional and made a list of every material item I wanted and this laptop was at the top of my list. Needless to say 2016 was an incredible year for me and If it is any indication on what 2017 will be like then I can't wait. My book launches in 12 weeks. And I have a lot of exciting…

The desk is always ready for me, so I can paint whenever inspiration strikes. The adjacent window means I always have light for working. When I want to paint at night, the lamp to the right of the desk swivels to light up my art. There's also plenty of foot room, so I can keep spare supplies and reference books on the floor within easy reach. I can fold the desk down if I ever want to paint at an easel instead.

This is a bed I built for my younger son about 8 years ago.I wanted him to have a unique bed and to make good use of his room space. So there is room under the bed for a desk or some cupboard, and at bed level there is a room at the head of the bed and a platform where to put comics, books, an alarm clock, etc.As I built this years ago, I cannot show the assembly steps in detail. However, as I try to design to minimize work and for easy assembly, I hope that the pictures and instructions will…
