RANCH CHEESE BALL 4 oz sharp ched cheese, shred; 4 oz cream cheese, soft; 1 tsp ranch dressing mix; 1 tsp freeze dried chives/grn onions; 1 oz (1/4 C) sliced almonds, coarsely chop; Put cheddar & cream cheese in food processor. Pulse to partially blend then process til smooth. Add ranch & chives; process til blended. Chill abt 2 hrs. Shape to ball. Put nuts in sm bowl; roll to coat with nuts. Get light coating first, then press in more nuts. Wrap in plastic wrap, chill til serve.
The Reedy Review: Three Ingredient Black Pepper Cheese Ball- 2 pkg cream cheese, 1 pkg dry ranch dressing mix, black pepper. Mix cream cheese and ranch dressing mix, and form into a ball. Roll in black pepper. Serve with raw veggies and crackers.
