As we were walking through villages in the district of Nuwakot this woman and her child caught my attention. I wasn't able to communicate with her but I was told that every single house in her village collapsed during the earthquake. They are still waiting for the promised help from the government and because most people don't have any income at all up here it's almost impossible for them to move on and build new homes. 2015 was such a powerful year for YWAM Queenstown! We had our first ever DTS in January and in our first year as a base we were blessed to run 4 schools throughout the year: Arise ; Ski&Snowboard ; Classic and Extreme.  We were able to bless the local community in Queenstown and go to the nations sending teams to places like Papua New Guinea Nepal Malaysia Philippines Taiwan and Thailand.  And to think we only had 5 staff in the beginning of the year! We can't wait for what God has in store…
