So I read The Notebook when I was lots younger. And I cried like a baby through out it. I have, of course, seen (and love) the movie. But I wanted to re-read it again and it was just as moving 8 years later. The movie is great, but the book is better.
Soothing, singing, dancing, playing the fool--nothing, it seems, will get baby-o to go to sleep until sister finds the solution, in a picture book of verses accompanied by music, based on an Appalachian folksong.
