CHEWY SALTED CARAMEL OATMEAL COOKIES - yum!!  Despite the name, doesn't need the salt on top, unless maybe you cut down the salt in the dough. Don't try to do the double batch as listed- cut it down to a single batch- fills a kitchen aid. Bake 10 min to get nice spread and crispy chewy texture.  Plan on giving some away so you don't eat them all!!  And must use regular oats not quick for a good spreading cookie.
