I love using this fact to help me explain what it feels like to have Narcolepsy so that people can try to understand a little better. I say: "So the amount of sleepiness I feel without medicine is the same way you would feel if you stayed awake for 72 hours straight." Now try feeling that way for years, like all those people who have had to go years and years without a diagnosis... :(
