Gorch Fock, the sail-training ship of the Bundesmarine (the German Navy), name after a poet sailor killed during the Jutland battle durring WWI. I have provided the technical data in a previous note. She is also called now Gorch Fock II since the first of the name has been brought back to her homeland thanks to the efforts of Tall Ships' Friends Deutschland. Is a large but finely designed three-masted bark, which serves as a trainig ship for officers and peety officers of the German Navy.
