Abandoned home in Puerto Rico.(photo + submission by alohabetty) This is an abandoned home in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. I couldnt actually get in the building to take the shot so I had to stick my camera lens through some broken shutters to take the shot. It came out well, though, and I only wish I would have been able to walk around the place a bit.
San Juan is the capital and most populous city in Puerto Rico. Founded in 1521 by Juan Ponce de León, who named it City of Puerto Rico (Rich Port). The capital of Puerto Rico is the oldest city under U.S. jurisdiction, but some people argue than St. Augustine, Florida, founded in 1565 is the oldest city in the continental United States ~Unit One The Human Planet~
San Juan, Puerto Rico: Another early port visit for me. My tour started at the Bacardi Rum Factory and steadily the memories get hazier after that. Sad, as it seemed like a place that would have been a lot of fun to remember.
Old San Juan is one of the most colourful little cities within a city we have been to, and for so many different reasons. Find out why Old San Juan is the jewel in Puerto Rico's crown at vagrantsoftheworld.com
