A linen lined bodice with shoulder plackets and a deep 2 part V back construction, underarm triangular gussets to the long slender sleeves, two different calico printed cotton lining materials to the sleeves, a directionally pleated waistband with a closure at the side to the unlined skirt, and side slits below the waist to reach pockets that would be worn beneath the skirt. A pinked sarcenet faced hem.
