McArthur Building, ca. 1915-- Peel’s Prairie Provinces, a digital initiative of the University of Alberta Libraries Designed by architect J.H.G. Russell, the McArthur Building was constructed between 1909 and 1910 for $400,000. Once the tallest building in Winnipeg, the structure stood until the late 1980s when it was demolished to make way for the TD building.
