My family tree.all Southern. Never thought of this before, but it is so true. Until my father died at age I still called him "Daddy". And my mother died at age 84 and I still called Mama, and we were all from the South!

Southern Saying: I don't know diddly squat

Meaning: You don't know diddly squat means that You don't know what you're talking about. You don't know a thing about it so be quiet. OR You didn't do diddly-squat. Meaning you didn't do a single thing, lazybones.

Some people call it manipulation, Southern Belles call it charm.

In the south people are so rude!, but think it' ok, because they say it in a sweet voice!
