I love this retro seventies version of a space ship. This on a grander bigger scale could really work as a Solar Flame ship. Love the friendly approachable shape

1957 Jurisch Motoplan – This prototype was the vision of engineer and motorcycle racer Carl Jurisch. The German saw the benefits of a vehicle that could combine the a car and a motorcycle. It utilized Messerschmitt and Heinkel components, and was used by Jurisch for a short time before he sent it to the US in an attempt to market the car. It sat unloved in Florida until the 1970s when a microcar collector purchased it and was able to track the car’s mysterious and fascinating history.

Vertical parking, This was an “elevator garage” in Chicago, 33 W. It held up to 48 cars. Workers simply drove into the elevator car, parked in their sky-high slots, then walked along the fire escape to their offices.

A 1954 Escher VW-Porsche Kleinbahn Prototype in the Prototype in Hamburg.  These little trains were built from 1954 to 1971 and were used in parks and botanical gardens. It pulled 3 cars which had space for 90 passengers. Its not a accident that the design of the locomotive looks like a cross between the legendary TEE train and the Porsche 356. This locomotive was powered by a VW industrial engine and was the prototype of the VW-Porsche trains.....it's not a car but it is very cool!!!

HOV Lanes, HOT Lanes, or whatever you call the High Occupancy Lanes along some Houston freeways, are confusing, with different fee structures for different hours of the day.
