Civil War Shell Embedded Log from Gettysburg, aka "War Log", 23.5” high, 10” in diameter section of a tree, which has a 12 lb. cannon ball embedded in it, plus a bullet and a piece of shrapnel from an explosive shell, around which the tree grew for a while after it was hit. Original card, now crumbled and missing, indicated it was cut from Seminary Ridge along Confederate Avenue, probably in the 1870’s.
