Bento Box: And lastly, a little snowman bento for her morning nutrition break. I made 2 snowman picks using 3 mini marshmallows, pretzel sticks, food safe markers and a toothpick. I used these picks for her cantaloupe and kiwi. She also had a container of holiday rice krispies and a container of yogurt.
Fruits: strawberry, orange, pineapple, green grapes (I wish I had kiwi), blueberries and purple grapes. Veggies: red bell pepper, cherry tomato, carrots, orange cauliflower, golden beets, crookneck squash, snap peas, turnip (tried to dye with blue dye but it didn't take well), and purple kale. Read how I did it here on my blog jewelmaker.livejournal.com/9542.html
meet the dubiens; This colourful little bento was for Kirsten's morning nutrition break. She had some fruit salad with a cute little elephant pick, a cereal bar, and some pretzel sticks with cute little cheese birdies.
I am lion, hear me roar. This was a really fun bento for her afternoon nutrition break. She had half a turkey bologna sandwich with a cute little lion face on top. The lion face was made using a whole wheat tortilla, food safe markers and matchstick carrots. She also had a container of sliced pears with a lion pick and a container of crinkle cut cucumbers.
Bento Box: Here's another gingerbread bento but this one was for her afternoon nutrition break. She had half a chicken sandwich with 2 little gingerbread men cut out of whole wheat tortilla on top. I decorated with little men with my food safe markers. She also had a container of sliced cucumbers and a peeled clementine orange with a pick on top.
