A thick and thin single made from my basket of rolags, plied with green silk yard for added strength. I've eight more of these tricky little rolags left. I'm planning to spin these out as a regular single, just in case I need some extra yarn for the 'Road of Trials' journal scarf that I'll be weaving with the extra (i.e., rejected) yarns I've made this last few weeks.

My first attempt at spinning 'thick and thin'. The yarn held together but it is somewhat lumpy bumpy, not the effect I had hoped to achieve.

.....But earlier this week, I bought this outfit from Gudrun Sjoden. Not only is it more extrovert than my usual choice of clothes, but I seem to have been influenced by the colours I've been working with lately!
