The ethos that is presented in this design is more aimed towards a responsibility towards the environment. The designer was talented enough to not sacrifice beauty of design, but, at the same time, make a garden area that is morally more considerate of the environment and ecologically friendly.
While the trend of Green Roofs and Rooftop Gardens is seemingly sweeping the nation, it is important to understand that not all roofs and plaza decks were engineered to handle the heavy load requirements of a traditional green roof.
