Used the filling to make pizzelle sandwiches/stroopwafels. Failed the first time because I had never done candy before and was relying on our thermometer - turns out it's the wrong kind. Read up on the soft ball stage, made it again the same day and got a fantastic result. Boiling water cleans up the mess.
