Iberian-American horse or Ibero. Mare RP-Bailarina. The Iberian-American horse is a new breed created in the 1960s in Central America, in Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Honduras. The purpose is obtaining a show and saddle horse, taller than Paso Fino or Paso horses in Colombia and Peru, but with high movements. For that, PRE (Spanish Purebred or Andalusian) were crossed with Peruvian Paso. The breed is now in process of consolidation.
