A Rare American Sailor's Woolwork, Circa 1870. 19" x 14 1/4" The woolie features a converted steam ship approaching a promontory of land with a lighthouse and fort along the shore. She flies an American flag from the stern and a banner, signifying her return home, from the mainmast.
