The Goðafoss (Waterfall of the Gods) is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Iceland. It is located in the Mývatn district of North-Central Iceland at the beginning of the Sprengisandur highland road.
Svalbard, Norway - The waterfall is caused by the melting of the polar ice sheet. While the sheet is supposed to melt gradually, the drip has reached the point of a waterfall. Yet, people still dispute the evidence of global warming.
