**Driving home after midnight a few years ago, we saw these lights, but didn't know what they were. We learned the next day, when everyone was talking about them. After that, we have made sure we position ourselves to be able to view them on purpose...we still haven't seen the outlandish ones like one sees in Alaska; Norway & Antarctica. These Northern Lights are another reason for counting our blessings...such sights for me were only in storybooks until I moved North in 1988.njoyG
