Jeanne's Duc de Brissac, in regimental uniform - apparently designed in the 16th century and not updated. It's interesting seeing classic Elizabethan dress juxtaposed on a very 18th century feeling portrait.

This is tagged as the Duc de Brissac, Jeanne's later lover, but what he's doing in full Elizabethan dress (though with delicate 18th century colors!) and with a mustache is beyond me. It's possibly related to his regimental dress, as other portraits of him show him with a neck ruff.
