Antonia and her husband, Crown Prince Rupprecht of Bavaria. She was her husband's 2nd wife. As anti-Nazis, Antonia and Rupprecht were forced into exile in 1939 and fled to Italy. Later, Antonia and the children moved to Hungary, where they were caught by the German Army and imprisoned in concentration camps. Antonia never fully recovered from the effects of her imprisonment and died 9 years after her liberation from Dachau in 1945.
