Zhao Chang(赵昌) ,《林禽花圖》 現藏於 東京畠山記念館。赵昌,字昌之,北宋时期(公元11世纪),广汉剑南(今四川剑阁之南)人,生卒年不详。性情爽直高傲,刚正不阿。时州伯邵牧争求笔迹,不肯轻与。 工书,擅画花果,多作折枝花,兼工草虫。初师滕昌祐,后过其艺,亦效徐崇嗣“没骨法”,常于清晨朝露未干,围绕花圃观察花木神态,调色描绘,自号“写生赵昌”。当时盛行厚彩重色,而赵昌所作一片平滑,明润匀薄,活色生香。真宗大中祥符(1008-1016)间,声誉益隆。丁朱崖奉白金五百为寿,昌感其意,亲往谢之。此时,朱崖邀其至东阁,求画生菜数窠及烂瓜生果等,昌挥笔遽成而去。晚年其自矜所作,往往深藏不市,若见自家画作流落市井,则复自购以归之,故世罕传。
