It is believed that the Temple of Vesta was, in form, copied from the these early dwellings because the worship of Vesta began in individual homes. The mummy of Sensaos, a Roman era girl, dates from 109 AD. The mummy itself is plainly wrapped. Scientists were able to take images of Sensaos's head and reconstruct her face. This is now displayed along with her mummy.
