An 18th century topaz and paste brooch and a pair of earring The openwork lozenge-shaped plaque, circa 1770, of floral and foliate motifs, set throughout with mixed-cut pastes, centrally-set with a faceted yellow topaz in a foiled closed-back setting, suspending a similarly-set pear-shaped topaz drop, accompanied by an associated pair of earrings, earrings later converted, lengths: brooch 7.2cm., earrings 4.4cm.
Gold, enamel, and seed pearl bracelet. The central cartouches depicting enamelled portrait miniatures of Louis XVI of France (1754-1793), his wife Marie Antoinette and two of their children, Marie Therese Charlotte (1778-1861) and Louis Charles, Louis XVII, Titular King of France (1785-1795).
Presented to Queen Victoria & placed among Indian Collection belonging to Crown by King George V in 1924. Description: A ruby, diamond and pearl tiara formed from twelve gold, tear-shaped sections mounted with diamonds and rubies, on a gold and pearl band, with enamel portraits at back.
