Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory (The Domes) is a conservatory located at Mitchell Park in Milwaukee, WI. Each of the 3 domes (Tropical, Arrid & Show) maintain a distinct climate & setting for the exposition of its large variety of plant life. At a bluff overlooking the Menomonee Valley, is a monument marking the site of an early trading post built by Jacques Vieau, who was a settler & fur trader who later became father-in-law to Milwaukee founder Solomon Juneau.
The Pammukule or the cotton castle, called in Turkish language is a world heritage site located in the Denizli province of southern part of Turkey. The site consists of hot springs, and the terraces are made of traventine or sedimentary rock that gets accumulated by the water produced by hot springs.
