"Let's get wasted means let's get totally trashed/drunk/messed up. I don't mean it literally but I like the idea of getting wasted on pleasure, passion, love, happiness. In each one of my paintings I can do that, I get wasted on them.
I've finally read this classic, which I quite enjoyed. I think it is quite an accomplishment to depict a character as utterly annoying as Emma Bovary and still make you readers identify. A great, scandalous book.
