responsive classroom note: advice for students to self-evaluate on the "clip chart" (i.e. to use the chart as a "rubric" rather than a public "clip chart"). also, can extend "ready to learn" across the whole chart, b/c kids should be ready to learn all of the time. ~"where do you think you are on our rubric? you thought ___, but i think you might be ____ because ___."; ~"what does a role model look like? how do we get there?"
CHAMPS behavior expectation descriptions sized for a small pocket chart (mine came from dollar store). Cut out and laminate at the beginning of the year and save time in writing behavior expectations all the time!
