Beachy Head is a chalk headland in Southern England, close to the town of Eastbourne in the county of East Sussex, immediately east of the Seven Sisters. The cliff is the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain, rising to 162 metres ft) above sea level.
The lighthouse was moved back from the edge by 17 metres in 1999, as due to erosion it was in danger of falling into the sea. It's a bed and breakfast - you can go and stay there! It's called Belle Tout Lighthouse.
