Sunset and Vine Early - School girls head West on Sunset Blvd. There is the Columbia Pictures water tower on the left and the famed Morgan Camera Establishment on the far right. Last time I checked, the Morgan Camera building and sign were still standing.

Sunset Strip 1949: On the right, that's Ciro's (now the Comedy Store) and the Hacienda Park Apartments (later renamed the Coronet and is now the Plaza del Sol office building). Just beyond them, the building that housed the Clover Club can be seen. Note that, across the street from Ciro's, in the southeast corner of Olive and Sunset, is the home that is now the House of Blues. Closer in may be the roof of a house owned by John Barrymore in the 1930s.

This is a shot of Sunset Strip in On the right, about halfway up, we can see Ciro's nightclub (now the Comedy Store). The white building next to it is the Hacienda Park Apartments (later renamed the Coronet and is now the Plaza del Sol office building.
