coral reef pond

The completed large glow in the dark Altoids tin coral reef pond. :) This pond…

Skating Tin: I made this during the holidays: it's an altoids tin. I pressed white fimo into the [inside] edges for snow banks, then baked the tin. then I mixed a tiiiny bit of blue food coloring into clear acrylic gloss...I poured the gloss into the "pond" area and let it dry for a few days. Then I cut out paper shapes to fit into the lid, to make the scene, then I painted glue where I wanted glitter.

Skating Tin: Pond made with blue food coloring and and clear acrylic gloss. Snow made with air-dry clay and glued on glitter.

Sorry!"

Edit: Since I'm getting a lot of the same questions, I'll answer them here. - The water is just clear resin. - The fish are made from polymer clay. FOR SALE - Large Altoids Tin Koi Pond
