Dromos y primer pilono del templo de Karnak. Esfinges con cabeza de carnero, animal simbólico de Amón, construidas por Ramsés II que unen el templo de Karnak con el de Luxor y con un embarcadero que comunica el templo con el canal que llega del Nilo, para las barcas sagradas durante las fiestas religiosas. Dos pequeños obeliscos, obra de Seti I, preceden al primer pilono de época tardía y posiblemente inacabado, el cual consiste en dos bloques trapezoidales de muros en talud.
