Bill Watterson's "cartoonist's advice," in comic form by Zen Pencils, aka Gavin Aung Than.

Very Good Advice From Calvin and Hobbes Creator Bill Watterson, Beautifully Illustrated

In Calvin and Hobbes creator Bill Watterson gave a speech at his alma mater, Kenyon College—which touched on defining yourself past what’s simply expected of you. The folks over at Zen Pencils illustrated this amazing take on a quote from the speech.

2 Corinthians 12:8,9 Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me. And He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness." Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.

I don't believe in a god, but I've always found this inspirational anyway. Sometimes you just need to be better and rise above things for YOU.

People are often unreasonable and self centered. Forgive them anyway - Mother Teresa
