This is one of my own hens, that I have presently, she's a good layer and lays beautiful duck egg blue eggs! I'm not sure what breed she is, perhaps a cross? She's all black except from her neck feathers. Harriet Knibbs Photos
This is 'Charlie' as a chick with his mum, I'm unsure what breed the mum was. I also have another hen, black, I posted a photo of her, she lays blue eggs. . If anyone can identify the breeds, I'd appreciate it! As I'd like to get some more, they're really good layers. Harriet Knibbs Photos
This is 'Charlie' (I don't name all my poultry by the way!) he's a complete mix breed of Isa Brown, Welsummer and at least two other breeds. But apart from being a mix he turned out to be a very beautiful cockerel - I think he resembles a Hampshire Red in his colouring. Harriet Knibbs Photos
