MMM.. homemade fruit slices.  1 3/4 CSugar, 1C corn syrup, 3/4Cwater, 1bxpectin, flavoring, coloring, 1/2tsp baking soda.  Recipe calls for boiling separately water, soda and pectin in one pan, 1Csugar and corn syrup in another, each for 4 min.  Slowly add together, boil another min.  add color and flavor.  Pour into 8x8 and cool for at least 3 hours. Invert onto parchment, cut into small squares and roll in sugar.  Let stand uncovered overnight. Store in airtight container.
