Oversized mudroom in farmhouse. I love the dutch doors, beadboard on the walls and ceiling, Vermont slate tile flooring, schoolhouse lights and a sturdy bench for taking off one's boots in the back entrance of this New England farmhouse.

Note that the custom screened door was made to match the solid wood front door.

One Pinner Said: Dark stained distressed wood floor.especially nice when you have a home with a lot of light.love dark floors, although they will show dust, hair more than light wood floors.but I personally think dark floors are gorgeous!

Love this back entranceway - herringbone brick floor, french doors, and palladian windows.

Breezeway to garage.double use as greenhouse? Brick Pavers for entry hall. I saw this last week in an old Leawood home. I came home and took a sledge hammer to the old white tile in my entryway. I love it!

Entry, love the door, really really want that door!!

Dutch Door in an Entry. During warm weather months, the top door can stay open to admit breezes. A transom and sidelights frame the door for a formal look and to stretch the entry from wall to wall. The columns look like our basement entry
