Surat 55 Rahman, begun at left now continues:  "[God] laid out the earth for all living creatures. In it are fruits & date-palms & grains on leafy stems & fragrant herbs. So which of your Lord's blessings do you then deny?. . . [God] has let loose the two seas, converging together, with a barrier between them, they do not break through. 1/1 Caught Sotheby's in another error: At right we have heading for Surat 19 Maryam (Mary) which continues at left until verse 5.  But above on right is last verse of Sura 18 Kahf (Cave): "Say [Prophet] 'I am only a human being, like you, but it has been revealed to me that your diety is one God. So whoever hopes to meet his Lord should act with integrity & not compromise with anyone the worship of his Lord.'" v.110. (T Cleary trans). Egypt or Syria, Mamluk, ca 1300 AD. (Audrey Shabbas)
