I make these with homemade GF french bread now, but used to just buy buns from the deli. Often made them with ham and cheddar or turkey and cheddar, i use onion powder instead of onion flakes and i skip the poppy seeds. Originally got the recipe from MOMS Club cookbook and it FAST became a crowd favorite. (Thanks katie!). Baking time doesn't take much over 15 minutes so a fast one to prep ahead and bake fast and/or take for funerals, births, etc.
