How to fix a broken nail. i am going to use a empty tea bag since i don't have fabric to use. Ladies, you won't have to cut your long nails! Growing them takes weeks! fixing a broken nail takes a few minutes!
How to Use a Band aAid to Create Dots for Nail Polish
Perfect DIY french tip nails = use curved band-aids! Use for the holidays for beige base and black tips or colorful nails! (a little pricey. but it's probably still cheaper than going to get them done at a nail salon)
I used Zoya Helen as a base, with Urban Outfitters Nude 3 to highlight, and Zoya Helen and Zoya Dea to shade and for the dots. (as the perforated holes in the plastic type of bandages) Topped it all off with 2 coats of Seche vite top coat.
A nail band-aid? A broken nail isn’t the end of the world, but to have one short nail in line with the rest of your long beauties isn’t pretty. As long as you have nail glue handy, you can fix your broken nail in a matter of just a few minutes!
Glitter Tips!!! I started with my base coat let it completely dry, then cover the majority of your nail using a band aid leaving just the tip. You can use anything to cover your nail but the advantage of band-aids are they're already adhesive and they give you that perfect french tip curve. I then put a layer of top coat to act as glue and rolled my finger in glitter after it drys remove the band aid and apply a final layer of top coat to give your nails that shiny finished look! :)
In a pinch? Paint a base color on your nails and let it dry completely. Press a Band-Aid with holes on top, then paint on top of it with a contrasting shade of polish. Lift off the Band-Aid, and you'll have a perfectly-spaced polka dot mani!
