How to Shoot the Moon - Photography Tips by Sara Therese Photography

Shooting the Moon - Images above: sec; ISO Manual Mode This morning I took my first moon images seen above. Knowing the harvest moon awaited and making the most of my insomnia at AM, I donned.

I used hard side light by using two strip boxes but I took off the diffuser in the front for a higher output. Also, my assistant is holding the light up towards him so its gets under his hat. Model: NIKON D3 Serial #: Firmware: Adobe Photoshop CS3 Macintosh Frame #: Lens (mm): 24 ISO: 100 Aperture: 10 Shutter: 1/320

Angle - Different sources of light are required for proper lighting of a character, not just one or two lights coming from a front facing source.

I love capturing street photography as I get to see the stories behind other peoples lives. I took this from a bridge at the Barbican Centre in London looking down onto the road. I realised everywhere you go you will see some kind of sign and instruction. The Look Left in this image captured my eye as you see the woman following the instruction but the man is pointing right. It made me wonder whether we are all just following instructions every day as humans Image by @emmypammy…

https://flic.kr/p/9CNBtA | Rock Candy | Aperture Academy Photography Workshops I was hiking around the Escalante Grand Staircase Wilderness, specifically the South Coyote Butte area, when I came across this 2 foot tall rock. I took a double take when I first saw it and since it was nearly sunset, I planted my tripod and decided to spent the last light of the day over this little fella. As I was working on a composition, I started thinking about what this looked like...and what I might…

I love the aperture of this shot. And while it certainly makes me think of the Hogwarts Express, it also makes me think of an air of adventure.

Interiors of a train: the sleeping compartments. If you ever get a chance, travel by rail to spend quality time together. It really is about "the journey".
