Abandoned Francis Lee Smith Mansion, Cody, Park County, WY. The rambling log structure, with its undulating staircases, umpteen balconies and half-finished rooms, has for 30 years loomed over the Buffalo Bill Cody Scenic Byway, inspiring stories, none of which are true. Japanese house I really want to have some sort of equivalent to the Japanese wrap around porch...only someone would put some chairs on it or something and it would become a cluttered mess because it's so narrow, or access to it is wierd.... I can't figure out how to make it work into my dream house designs. Sigh.

This house was gorgeous. too bad it was left to rot....but in years past, what a beauty this Southern plantation home was!.....
